Victoria Webb, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in weight management, eating behavior, and sleep. She helps clients improve their relationship with food and their bodies by emphasizing sustainable behavior change methods, acceptance, and self-compassion. She regularly treats uncontrolled eating (binge eating, emotional eating) and can support bariatric patients and those using weight loss medications. Dr. Webb has a particular interest in treating insomnia, as well as the stress and anxiety associated with life transitions, medical conditions, and parenting.

Dr. Webb received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yale University. Prior to completing her doctoral degree, she worked in weight-related research at the Center for Obesity Research and Education at Temple University and the Center for Weight and Eating Disorders at the University of Pennsylvania. During her graduate training, she led research on how food marketing affects individuals, and worked as part of the Rudd Center for Food Policy and the Yale Program for Obesity, Weight, and Eating Research.

Dr. Webb completed a clinical internship in health psychology at Rush University and a postdoctoral fellowship in health promotion/disease prevention within the Veterans Health Administration. She has provided clinical services in a variety of settings including academic medical centers, physicians’ offices, and psychological private practice. She has worked as primary psychologist on medical weight management and bariatric treatment teams. Dr. Webb has advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for binge eating, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Dr. Webb applies her unique training background to support individuals in their health behaviors and overall wellness. She specializes in weight management, eating behavior, and health behavior change (including sleep). She utilizes an empathic and empowering approach to behavior change and develops a personalized therapy plan with each client that blends the most recent evidence-based interventions with the client’s values and goals.

Dr. Webb spends her free time chasing her two little kids around and exploring local parks with them. She enjoys relaxing at the shore, trying new recipes, keeping up with the family book club, and watching Philly sports with her husband.
